YDSA chapters do not currently have a way of reliably getting funds from the national organization. Supporters of Resolution 14 argue in favor of a grant system that would get funds to chapters and allow the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) to have more influence over local campaigns.Â

Boston University tried to sell four apartment buildings in Los Angeles to a private firm, effectively displacing their current occupants. BU YDSA was able to use the power of their national organization to stop it.
Ben Sasse and the War on Freedom at UF

On Tuesday, Nov. 1, a Republican senator from Nebraska, Ben Sasse, was appointed unanimously by the University of Florida Board of Trustees to be UF’s 13th president.
However, as much as this story has centered around Ben Sasse himself in the past month, it’s deeply important to consider the context in which his coronation happened.Â

YDSA Needs to Prioritize our Grievance Process
